ISO 9001
The ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the services and products an organisation supplies. It prescribes control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met.

Orchard Press is proud to have achieved another goal in our list of environmental initiatives in our recent certification with FSC (The Forest Stewardship Council and PEFC Council (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes).

At Orchard Press we have been awarded ISO 14001, which is a major milestone for the company. This has been backed up by what we have been doing for years which our competitors are only just beginning.
- We recycle 90% of our waste.
- All our inks are vegetable-based.
- We are one of the first to be using processless plates.
- We have a power converter to convert high energy to low and consume less power.
- We use as many non-voc products as possible.
- We have worked towards a reduction of chemical and emissions.
- There is an active plan for waste minimalism.
