Print Process

From a single sheet to the Bible, we have the in-house capabilities to suit the whole spectrum of specifications.  Marketing Collateral, Financial Reports, Direct Mail, Technical Manuals, Books, Invitations, Catalogues, Menu’s, Brochures, Posters, Magazines, Leaflets… our highly productive presses have the capabilities to suit all your print requirements. 

Accurate colour reproduction is essential which is why we have invested in the best hardware and software to achieve this. This is managed through Image Control which scans the whole sheet and monitors the information throughout the print run.  This data is recorded so should you require your job reprinted it will be an exact colour match.

We print via Hybrid Screening at high resolution 250dpi as standard, most other printers unless they are specialist print at 150dpi.  This is where our quality management surpasses all others as it means you get photographic reproduction on images, and smoother blends and tints which gives much sharper, clearer results.

ISO 12647 – 2 – Colour Reproduction Standard

The ISO 12647 – 2 standard we are working to has been created as an international standard that sets a series of tight guidelines for reproducing colour across the reprographic and printing workflow. It’s a peg in the ground for colour consistency. The specification has targets and measurement settings for every process including different paper types and tackles the differences in printing with different inks, as they all have differing properties.  The result is an improvement in colour consistency, and less waste as digital information, proofs, and printing are all brought together.

Our printing credentials also extend to FSC, PEFC and ISO 14001 environmental certifications.
